Fort Worth Public Golf Courses 2026
Updated June 2026 • All 4 City-Operated Courses
Fort Worth has four city-operated public golf courses, all in the system. Three are traditional parkland layouts dating to the mid-20th century; one offers a hillier, open design. Green fees run $24–$45 — well below the national average for maintained public courses.
TrackPass members get 1–2 free rounds per year at each course, charged against the $199/year flat rate.
Fort Worth City Courses
Pecan Valley Golf Club — River Course
$40/roundPecan Valley's signature layout. Par 72, 7,100+ yards from the tips. Tree-lined fairways along the Trinity River bottom, bentgrass greens, and one of the longer public layouts in DFW. The River Course hosted the 1968 PGA Championship.
Pecan Valley Golf Club — Hills Course
$40/roundMore open and hillier than the River Course. Shorter at around 6,600 yards, playing par 72. Good option if you're looking for a faster round or a course where you can work on your irons — less punishing tree cover.
Rockwood Park Golf Course
$32/roundClassic west side muni in Rockwood Park near the Trinity River. Tight fairways, mature trees, and a reputation as one of the more challenging city courses for its length. Consistent pace of play makes it popular for weekday rounds.
Meadowbrook Golf Course
$24/roundFort Worth's most affordable 18-hole course. Short, flat layout — approachable for beginners or high-handicappers, but don't be fooled by the price. The greens can be tricky and there are several tight tee shots on the back nine.
